West Sussex Highways have confirmed that signalised junction refurbishment works are to take place from 8 September 2025 for approximately 7 weeks, until 24 October, under temporary traffic management.  

West Sussex County Council is intending on refurbishing the traffic signals junction on the A259 with the Rustington Retail Park. Replacing all the signals equipment, updating the control method to the latest available, and installing low energy LEDs, as well as replacing all tactile paving and improving visibility by removing overgrown vegetation.
