Rustington will soon be benefitting from the second of two projects funded by Arun District Council’s allocation of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

The projects, designed to improve infrastructure to promote healthy and active lifestyles, include replacing the aged outdoor fitness equipment, a replacement Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA), bike racks and a bicycle repair station.

The successful funding bid of £48,000 was awarded to Rustington Parish Council towards the cost of these projects.

Work to replace the, now nearly 20 year old, Multi-Use Games Area are due to start next week (w/b 10th February 2025).

There is likely to be be some disruption and we apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused to users of the Recreation Ground and it's adjacent facilities.
