The Rustington Heritage Association's (RHA) facilitated Rustington's first Scarecrow Trail as part of the Associations 40th birthday celebrations in 2023.
Buoyed on by the success of the inaugral competition RHA are once again inviting the Rustington community to get creative and crafty whilst adding a splash of colour and creativity to the Village this summer.
This years Seaside theme gives tonnes of room for you to exercise your imagination - from holiday makers and seaside scenes through to mermaids and any of the birds and animals associated with the beach.
There are two categories, Organisation and Individual, and the winners, voted by the public, will receive a (small) trophy and certificate.
The scarecrows should remain in place for three weeks (10th August until 1st September), although voting will close on the 27th August 2024.
The scarecrows must be displayed on private land.
They are the responsibility of the builder, not Rustington Heritage Association
